Walk a Mile in Her Shoes - for SARA!

WHEN: Thursday, April 1 12:48 pm

WHERE: Downtown Mall, Charlottesville VA

If you are a guy, or if you know a guy, then you have a chance to make a difference in April, when a big group of men from our area will march on the Downtown Mall in shoes typically worn by women – high heels, ballet flats, you name it! It’s an attention-grabbing effort to draw our community’s notice to the current epidemic of sexual assault – 1 in 4 women and 1 in 8 men are sexually assaulted in their lifetimes. This is not okay, and all genders have a huge role to play in decreasing these numbers – as vital community leaders, allies, friends, survivors, and change-makers! So take the first step, and get a team together to walk against sexual assault. For more information, and to register, please visit our website at http://saracville.org/walk10.htm
Sponsored by the Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA)
