Author Margaret Edds discusses her book and the case of Earl Washington, Jr., a man with cognitive disabilities wrongfully convicted of rape and murder in Culpeper, Virginia who spent almost 18 years in prison (9 on death row) before being exonerated. In addition to being an author, Ms. Edds has been an editorial writer for the Norfolk Virginia-Pilot.
