PROTESTING AGAINST VIOLENCE

Eyes Wide Open 2011 display of empty boots representing our state’s share of U.S. casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan .

For forty years, the Charlottesville Center for Peace and Justice (CCPJ) has

created a tradition of nonviolent advocacy for peace and justice. We speak out

against violence in all its forms, including racism, sexism, economic impoverishment,

environmental destruction, mass incarceration, gun violence, and war.

Celebrate with us in picture and song! The beautiful vocal harmonies you hear

are the Charlottesville Women's Choir. (For sound, click "Notes" icon in lower right. )
